A Quick History
Los Cabos became a popular destination in the 1950s because of its sport fishing, stunning beaches, and affordable cost of living. Until then, the region had been pretty remote and undeveloped; soon, though, thousands of tourists and expatriates were pouring in, and a robust development was underway that continues to this day. Hotels and resorts now pepper the oceanfront, excellent golf and dining destinations abound, and the Los Cabos International Airport near San José Del Cabo greets travelers from all over the world.
